Need a project completed but don’t have the time and resources to complete it?  I think we can help you.

We are a small team with years of experience in planning, developing, producing and completing projects that exceed our customers expectations.

It all starts with us connecting and discussing your project ideas.

MEGA – PROJECTS

Heartland Transmission Project

An example of one of the  projects we covered over a lengthly contract period. A great project from a learning perspective and experience we can take to the next project.

A massive transmission powerline project in central Alberta that upgraded the electrical grid from the Wabamun power plants to areas surrounding the city of Edmonton, and north east.

We spent over a year on this project and would do something like this again in a heartbeat!

Using GPS coordinates, we located the various locations for the transmission power line towers, and photographed a series of photos that would later be used to create a panoramic image of the future right of way.

In the post production phase of the project, all the images were combined into creating panorama images of the various right of way locations. The original raw files were captured to a PhaseOne digital back on a Hasselblad system which provided the highest quality files to work with.  The working files to create these panoramic images were huge, often exceeding 400MB’s in size.

Our 3D artist was busy building the various transmission towers using drawings as a guide and once completed these were combined with the panoramic images.

The final products were photo realistic images of the future transmission line at various locations along the right of way. As a finishing touch, weighted electrical lines and accessories were added to the scenes.

SW240 Transmission Line Project

Nine months, 10,000+  kilometers, 4TB’s of video and photos and one heck of an experience!

Following the construction of a transmission line from Pincher Creek, Alberta to Lethbridge, Alberta. A tremendous learning experience that will help us plan any future projects of similar size and scope.

See our motion page for some video from this project.
